Pakistan's Inactivity Towards Their Citizens Stuck in Quarantine of Corona-Virus Infested Wuhan

Coronavirus is a threat to the whole world. Recent studies revealed that coronavirus can infect 60% of the world's population.

WHO ( world health organization ) notifies that china will contain this horror, which is a bit relaxing given that its cure has not been yet formulated.


The following are the major reasons for Pakistan's inactivity towards its citizen's evacuation.



  • Pakistan cannot risk the virus to be spread over the world, Moreover, the problem will come home and Pakistan is an underdeveloped country with substandard healthcare. Pakistan will never be able to contain the virus as China, and it will have devastating consequences.

  • Pakistan is an Islamic country, as there is saying of The Holly Prophet Muhammad PBUH "Don't enter the infected city and if you are already there, then don't leave"

  • For some, this is betrayal which is justified but the ground realities are so harsh, Pakistan cannot take this risk. It seems the best option for Pakistan to let China's government healthcare system to take care of its people stuck in Wuhan, as China controlled the breakout very efficiently.

  • Pakistan's health care system, is simply, poor. It is aggravated by insufficient funds by the government, corruption, and people of Pakistan are not health-conscious. Health is not the first priority for people of Pakistan since the survival of meeting the end is vigorous.
Many other countries have evacuated their citizens from Wuhan like Australia, India.

Pakistan took a firm decision to let its citizens stay in the quarantine of Wuhan, But, have resumed the flights between China and Pakistan which is still risky.

 So, it seems the opening of flights was more of a political goal. Korea which is an ally of China has shut down its border due to the outbreak of the virus.
